Dreams.....

I saw a rainbow in my dream,
    on a cloudy day across the stream

I saw a blade of grass aglow,
    with the dewdrop sliding fresh n pure

I saw a blooming daisy flower,
    beneath the trembling crumbling tower

I saw the waters rise and fall,
    forming a pattern on the mountain wall

Far away on the mountain top,
    i saw you standing deep in thought

I called your name with all my heart,
    you wouldnt turn, no matter what

I dropped my gaze with a broken heart,
    you and i stood worlds apart

The stillness of the time, the place,
    is still with me in many ways

I long to wake up from this dream,
    to hold your hands and fly away........
